Active Firefighter = Any male or female 18 years or older. Resident of the Mon Valley. An active member is required to attend the Firefighters Essentials  course given at the County Fire Academy within 1 year of joining. They need to attend as many drills, meetings, and fire calls as possible.

Jr. Firefighters = Between 16-18 years of age, male or female. Resident of the Mon Valley. Will be taught/trained in fire company operations.  The Jr FF  will learn how firefighting is done but will not participate in fighting fires until they turn 18 years old. They will be trained the proper way to clean and maintain equipment, roll hose, properly wear protective gear, and raise and lower ground ladders. They won't be allowed to fight fires but can assist firefighters in
fireground operations with adult supervision. Junior members receive and participate in training classes and respond on emergency calls within guidelines of the State Child Labor Laws.

Life Member: Any Active Member with 20 yrs service with Dravosburg VFC#2
